"For a short time I thought that my passion in life was to do interior design but while my husband was deployed to Iraq I realized that my true passion was the art of hair design which was always my childhood dream.  It was a dream that developed during many visits to the hair salon with my grandmother as a child.  Being a part of the beauty and fashion industry gives me the greatest oppurtunity for creativity. During my apprenticeship program at Lava, I assisted Karen who is the owner of the salon and have learned so much from her. Samanatha was my educator and her skill set and knowledgeability have been second to none in helping me to become the stylist that I am. My goal at Lava is to make clients feel that their hair is as important to me as my own and that I am completely devoted to creating the look that best suits them as well as compliments their lifestyle. Making people feel beautiful is a truly rewarding experience."
